Hey guys,
Got some excellent info on the topics. Think of going with the Talley one piece. It comes in low and medium. Whats the difference? What is standard or what is normal for most of us?
Thanks!!!!

I only use Leupold rings and mounts.
On the Omega, I went with the QR Base and High Rings for a VX-III 2.5x8x36. The high rings allow you to leave your rear sight intact and adjusted as well as gives a bit more clearance for access to the hammer.
The Leupold catalog will say low rings are fine with a 40mm bell scope. Don't use anything less than medium and you will likely want the high QR rings if you go with the QR base & ring setup.
If you do purchase the medium QR rings but want the high QR rings and have not fully mounted the mediums, Leupold with exchange them at no cost.
The QR ring height's are"
Low= .65"
Medium= .77"
High= .90"

what size scope objective are you using? for the omega, a 40mm scope will be fine with low rings, and over that use medium up to 50mm, which will use high. I have medium height leupold rings on my omega with a simmons aetec (44mm) with about 1/4" clearance or more between the scope and barrel.

Thanks guys!!
I was able to get ahold of a technician at TC Arms this morning and he helped me out. I ordered the Omega in full realtree camo and the Bushnell Elite 3200 2X10 40. Got the Medium quick release's that TC makes. I'm gonna share some decent info on a new post that the TC technician shared with me.
Thanks again!
