I own a Blk. Dia. Express 50 cal. very accurate with right sabot combo. Has enough weight that you don't get shoulder beat black and blue. I thought $322 including tax was a good buy. The only drawback i have found is it takes at least an hour to completely clean it properly!

I also shoot a Black Diamond XR and as far as accuracy it can play with any of the big boys out there. It is a heavy rifle but I find it balanced well. Off a suport such as a bench rest on the range it does not beat you up at the end of the day.

As others have noted, it is a devil to clean. Of all the rifles I own it is the worst to clean. Personally I do not find this as a big deal. I take this time to think and reflect on all the stuff that happened and observations of the range time. I always take my time cleaning the rifle and inspect it as I clean it. I can clean the rifle in about 20 minutes spotless (I have lots of practice.). The trigger breaks crisp and clean, but this rifle does fowl bad. It fowls the scope, the breech, and the bore.

As for the shooting ability, I have posted some results of different targets I have shot with the Black Diamond XR that are in my opinion ... impressive. If I had to do it over again, I would save a little longer and get the Omega, but that is hindsight....
