I just purchased a CVA Optima Pro ML and would like to know some popular bullet/powder loads for whitetail hunting? Ranges may be out to 200yds and as close as 50yds. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My brother bought the optima pro last week and I helped him sight it in. He had the magnum, so we went with 3 pyrodex pellets. He purchased a pre packaged accessory pak from CVA also, it came with 20 powerbuilt hollow pt bullets in 296 grain I believe. We sighted it 3" high at 50 yds, which made it dead on at 100 yds, and 3" low at 150 yds. At 200 yds, it was about 8" low. Taz

Good to know, I'll try it and see tomorrow while zeroing. I'm anxious to see how these Optima's shoot.
