bolt action or break apart
I have recieved some good information on buying my first ML. I have noticed that most of the replies have been to buy a bolt action like the Knight disc and CVA magbolt. I am just wondering if there is much of a difference in the time of cleaning and ease of operation? I have noticed that it can be a bit difficult to insert the cap in some bolt actions when there is a scope attached. That is about the only reason I was looking at a break apart such as the T/C Encore, CVA optima 209, and the New England Heritage. I am also wondering about weather proof since I live in Minnesota and the gun will be in severe weather conditions. Any input will help

RE: bolt action or break apart
I started with a bolt type (TC Black Diamond). It was a good gun made by a good company. I have since swithed to a Rossi breech action and I LOVE IT!!! It may be made by a "lesser" manufacturer and may not cost as much, but it is a good shooting well built gun. Shot several rounds thru it this summer sighting in new scope and the breech makes it so easy to field clean. Makes shooting much more enjoyable.
By the way, I'll make u a good deal on my TC.

Bass Pro Shop has some excellent buys right now on CVA, Traditions, H&R, and some other brands. You can pick up a break open or bolt what every you decide rather cheap. That break open H&R Sidekick for $159.00 is a nice rifle. I have to stop looking at that.
