RE: knight wolverine?
There's several bullets that will shoot well in knight 50's. SST's (not the shockwaves!), Barnes MZ, (not the new spitzers), Knight Jacketed sabots, and Winchester Platinum tips. Out of those my favorites are the SST's and Winchesters.

I have a Knight Wolverine II LK-93 that shoots the #11 caps. It also has the 22" barrel. A great shooting rifle. Ignition is so dependable I see no reason to update the ignition.
According to my notes some excellent loads are 90 grains of Goex FFFg and a Knight Sabot 300 grain. Also the Hornady SST 300 grain with 90 grains of Goex FFFg and a harvester sabot, which I noted... "excellent."
It also shoots Hornady 250 & 300 grain XTP's but I have not shot them at any distance more then 50 yards.
My rifle does not really like conicals at all although it will group good with the 460 grain no excuse and 90 grains of Goex FFg. Powerbelts did not shoot well out of the rifle and I ran out of them before I could try some different combinations.
If you want to plink my Knight shoots patched .490 roundball and 50 grains of FFg very well at close range. Just a fun load to shoot. You have a great rifle there....
By the way, 100 grains of powder is more then enough power for anything you might want to hunt....

My wife's groups the 295's pretty well with a 70 gr 777 ffg charge. They won't shoot with much more than 80 gr. though.

I shot the 295 & 348 grain all lead HP's. I took off the plastic shoe first and lubed the stump. I was shooting 80 grains of Goex FFFg. I was shooting them at 50 yards and compared to the way this rifle shot sabots, the powerbelts were not even in the running. Using both of the weights, and being as careful as possible off the bench I shot about a 3.5 inch group with them. That is acceptable at 50 yards but I could shoot a much better group with the sabots. Especially the SST's.
