I made what obviously was a mistake and assumed that the guy who owned my gun before me had properly cleaned it. What a mistake, after firing it for my first time, 20 rounds, I proceeded to tear the gun down, every thing came apart fine except I had a heck of a time getting the breech plug broke free, I spent over 10 minutes spraying BP solvent and working it back and forth before I was able to remove it. I bought some anti-seizing stuff from the gun store, but was wondering except for using that is there anything else I can do to prevent a recurrence of this, or should the anti-seizing stuff be enough?

Taz,
Any of the anti-seize lubes or tape works well. I've heard of some guys using waterpump grease or other high temp grease. Their purpose was an attempt to save a few bucks. You use so little that a container of name brand breech plug lube lasts for years anyway. I doubt that you can save enough to count. Use what you have, but use it every time you clean the gun.

If I am going to shoot 20 or more times in at one time I take mine out and regrease the threads about every 15 shots, sometimes it still sticks after many shots. It is pretty hard to get out once it does stick.

Based on Knights recommendation I used breach plug grease and pulled and cleaned the breach plug after every ten shots. Never had a problem.
I have a cousin that has a breach plug stuck in his CVA even though he was using bore butter. He shot 2 cards or about 40 rounds. Then couldn't get it out even using wrenches. I sure he could if he would put the barrel in a vice but he dosen't want to risk damaging the barrel. The extra cost is worth it. Like someone said a tube will last a long time.

Taz, Mine came with breech plug grease. It works great. Never had a problem. I'd recommend taking it apart and cleaning and regreasing about every 20 shots or so...if you are using that type of grease. It holds up pretty well.
