I agree with OLDSNOW the only difference is (an it is only a sight difference) is I use the 250 grain T/C Shockwaves. They are the same bullet, a 250 grain Hornady like Old Snow is talking about, but the sabot you chose might be different and they load a lot easier for some reason in T/C rifles. I shoot them out of my Black Diamond XR with fantastic results. When I shoot the Hornady SST's they also shoot great, but the Shockwaves shoot and load better for some reason.

Another load I am having fantastic results with are the T/C Mag Express XTP in the 240 grain weight. Again put 100 grains of Pyrodex RS. I have noticed with the longer barrels we have I was able in both cases to push the loads up to almost 120 grains without loss of accuracy, but 100 grains is most forgiving.

If your rifle behaves like mine, they are also excellent conical shooters. I shoot 320 grain R.E.A.L.s and the T/C maxi balls out of mine with great results. I also shoot some monster concials that weigh 533 grains and I use 80 grains of Pyrodex RS but the rifle really shoots them well.

You have a great rifle and got a heck of a deal on it.... enjoy yourself.

I find it very hard to believe you paid $250 for $550 worth of merchandise.

I live one hour from Marysville. What is the name of the gun store with such deals?.... I'm out the door & on my way as soon as you post it!!!!!
