Default 72 or 75 caliber

Doese anyone shoot a 72 or a 75 caliber muzzle loader? What do you use it on?

Default RE: 72 or 75 caliber

I ordered a .62 caliber smoothbore. I intend on shooting deer and birds of any type. Granted it will limit my range but I am at a point where bringing something home is not all that important. Just being out is the big thing... I intend on shoot shot and round ball out of it. I think with practice I can make the gun work with ball at 50 yards or further.

As for a .72 or .75 caliber smoothie, I think you could shoot anything you like once you find the loads for it. Then it is a matter of practice, like anything else.

Good luck with what ever you choose. I have been reading up on them and they sounded like so much fun, I just had to have one.
