txhunter58, I was curious about same, when I get an Omega. Williams makes a receiver peep for about 30-35 bucks and was listed for the first time in Cabelas this year. NOW, I think Thompson/Center make's one but it is not listed. Go to www.gunbroker.com and look under the firearms parts section and then click on 'sights'. Do a search for peep. You should see 2 or 3 listings for T/C peeps with photo's. Look up item 15017764 this is in the old blk/yellow packing, its shows it is for a System 1 where it is marked, just above it, it shows Encore. I believe the Encore and the Omega have the same receiver pattern and would fit. The current peep for the Encore, online T/C accessories is model number 7193 or 7793,,and would warrant a call to T/C to see if it fits.

The Encore muzzleloader and the Omega use the same scope bases. The screw holes are the same spacing. A peep sight that fits the Encore muzzleloader properly should also fit the Omega.

If that is true, why don't they say that it fits the Omega too? They don't even list one on the T/C site, only Encore. On another website they said that they used this sight (williams), but they had to shim it up or the peep would not be tall enough, but they were using a KNS crosshair site on the front. Maybe with a normal fiberoptic front post it would work. I just haven't heard from anybody that has actually put one on their gun. Have you? Thanks

Nope, I no longer have an Omega. Do have a couple of Encores and bought one of the Williams peeps from Cabela's but have not installed it. There might be a problem with front sight height and zero - that's why I used the "should" in my post. Since the rifles use the same sights, I still think it would work.
Williams 2004 catalog lists:
FP-T/C For Thompson/Center Encore, Omega, G2, Scout. (Fits factory drilling and tapping on top of receiver) on page 11.
WGRS-ENCORE—For T/C Encore and T/C Omega on page 13
So either they are making the same assumption
or those really do work. Again, I have NOT verified this by installing on a rifle.

Just got an Omega. For those of you with a peep sight on one, did you mount it in the same place as the original real peep or is it possible to mout it in the holes desinged for the scope on the back of the barrel. Seems like it would be better the further back you have it for accuracy and ease of looking through it.
