Hey Skeeter, I'm trying to find that replacement nipple in Cabelas...can't seem to find it.

Do you have a catalog part number?

Skeeter was that kit for the remington Ml ? mine kit looked different than that and it had 2 or 3 different nipples with it? My kit had the remington logo on the package?

That kit is made for the 700 by Cabelas.It's not the same as the one sold by remington.I think I'm gonna try that nipple with mine to see if it works.

No that kit is made for the 700ML but not by Rem. It is different than the conversion or pre installed kit by Rem. It can be ordered from cabelas website and possibly others as well...not sure. It isn't a Cabela's only product as I ordered through a ML distrubitor here in canada, not cabela's.

The nipple is on backorder right now.

eb - I see that Skeeter 7MM was able to eliminate the "Double Bang" problem with his Cabelas 209 conversion kit. When you spoke to Hodgdon and they told you there were conversion kits on the market that would eliminate this problem with the 700 ML. Did they give you the names of these companies and the kits with their model numbers ? This information would benefit all of us who own a 700 ML !!! Thank You, DeerMe

They didn't say ,but I'm sure that's the one they were refering to.The cabelas nipple doesn't have all those slots around the sides to let the spark out like the remington nipple does.
A friend of my dads had one during the muzzleloader season and you could tell a difference just by looking at them side by side.I wish I would have tried his nipple with my gun to see if that would have worked.

Eb - Well I think the least expensive thing I can try at this point is the Cabelas nipple which I will order. I would like to thank everyone who helped with a comment regarding this problem. I hope all of the 700Ml owners get this resolved before next season !!! Sincerely, DeerMe
