What type of reports do you seek? Litigation / personal injury, hospital emergency room reports, or a " 60 Minutes" expose? Who does the verifying?

The truth is not something you really want to hear.
ANY reports! Preferrably, verified ones, of course! The truth won' t particularly upset me, because I have no intention of ever using that much powder of any kind in a muzzleloader!!

NO! A gun which is " safe to fire" (debatable!!) with say, three 50-grain Pyrodex pellets is NOT safe to fire with 150 grains of 777!! 777 is at LEAST 10% to 15% HOTTER than other propellants! Use at least 20 to 30 grains LESS of it than any other powder! IF you are using 150 grains of Pyrodex, I' d recommend starting with no more than 90 grains of 777 with the same bullets in tht gun!

777 pellets are actually closer to 5% less potent than Pyrodex pellets. You must be thinking of " loose" 777 which is approximently 15% more potent than Pyrodex RS/Select loose.

I have done a lot of shooting with the 50 gr Pyrodex pellets in my TC. muzzle loaders. I can see no need to ever load more than two of those pellets. I have taken and seen taken many deer with two pellets and several combinations of bullets. They go down like a rock. I fire three pellets ONCE behind a 300 gr Hornady XTP. That was more than enough of that expierence.

I agree! 90 grains of 777 behind a 295 grain powerbelt bullet and a 209 primer gives me 2 inch groups at 100 yards and enough downrange energy to take down even the largest deer. Larger loads and lighter bullets may go further, but when I can use the same load to put 9 in 10 shots inside a pie plate at 200 yards, what else do you need? Who wants to be kicked harder than that.

Plus, I don' t think that most muzzleloading barrels have the right twise for the velocities that these loads generate.
