Default Anyone Use Shockwave Sabots

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience using the T/C Shockwave Sabots. My nephew has a T/C Encore 50 cal. and uses 2 50gr. Pyrodex pellets with a 250 grn Shockwave Sabot and claims to have great experience with flat trajectory. This is the first I' ve heard of these sabots.

I shot the hornandy 250gr. SST out of my Austin & Halleck and they flew great. Patterned really well at 100 yards with 2 50gr. pyro. pellets. I modified my cleaning jag that is normally on my ramrod so when loading these bullets, the pressure is on the bullet rather than the plastic tip.
I shot a doe at 53 yards with the 250 SSt. She was standing broadside and the bullet blew completely through so I can' t tell you anything about expansion or weight retention of the bullet. I can tell you the blood trail was awesome. But since the bullet probably took the arteries off the heart, its likely any bullet traveling that path would' ve done the same.
Another thing I like is the cost. I was shooting devel sabots at a buck a pop and these are considerably less.

I' m using the 300 grain T/C Shockwaves with 80 grains of 777 FFG. Shot a deer with the load on monday and he never twitched, just fell in his tracks. 75 yard uphill shot, went in behind the shoulder and out through the base of the neck.

I' m also getting 3/4" 3 shot groups at 100 yards with this round in my CVA Maghunter. I also tried the 250 grain T/C Shockwave and they also shot nice.
