Modern Vs Traditional

Then I've been extremely rude in just about every state in this country with huntable numbers of the deer family
Cuzz you can bet I have sweated on every single hunt I've been on!! Like you Pete, I'm built like a dang Brown Bear and I hate the heat just about as much. Over 60 and I'm halfway miserable!

I too prefer to hunt with traditional flintlock rifles throughout the entire deer season. I don't know that one type of stock is any better than another. I do believe that there is an advantage to the scoped inlines designed for the most modern bullets in the market now, but they are not for me. There are a wide range of muzzle loading rifles and supplies out there and my advice is to buy and use what you want. Flintlocks and patched round balls for me.
