At least you can hunt when there is snow on the ground. The deer yard up and it's like shooting fish in a barrel. So much easier to see that brown object moving against that white surface, might even have time for a flint lock misfire or two

no hunting deer for me, season is long over. Just out enjoying a hike and some shooting at targets.

And the guys with all those fancy plastic stocks, scopes, non rusting barrels, are most likely bundled up inside the house because those guns just can't stand up to the extremes. Shoot one them plastic stocks in the cold and they just might shatter to pieces like ice!

You've hunted with inlines how many times?

I know, but you should understand why a lot of guys don't want to bother with doing it traditionally. There's a place for them too.

I'd love that. Then make the muzzy season a flintlock season.

percussion/flintlock would be nice. Last year I saw a good deal of sidelocks, so that was a real nice change to see.

Holy mother! I called muley and my mouth was flying a 100mph LOL. This is one sweet muzzy!
I seriously have NEVER been this excited over a gun. I compared it to dating a girl for a while and then.... Well I can't say the rest but this is one friggin amazing muzzleloader that has complete style to it and feels like a perfect fit.
