I do know of a source for fairly cheap custom sized dies. $25

Thanks GM - but shooting both his 350s and his 465s, they both shot the same. But the difference in impact was significant. You could hear the 465s hit the dirt pile behind the target with a very audible thump and you could see a much bigger cloud of dust than any of the other bullets.
I like that bone crushing power of a heavy bullet.

Ron's water jug test with the 350's convinced me they "just might" do the job. I've got some coming from Ed. I want to see how much flatter shooting they are as compared to the 465's.

I agree but my concern is that a 1-30 is marginal for a 465gr bullet and only 70gr of powder. A conical around 405-420gr in a flat point would be worth trying too.

They both shoot great in my 1-20 though.

I tell ya, the RCBS 11mm bullet paper patched is wicked accurate and hits like Thor's hammer. It is 409 grains of awesome.

No doubt about it. The bullet is about perfect for deer. It blew the front jug in half. It penetrated the same # of jugs as did the 300g Deep Curl, which was devastating on all the deer it put into our freezer. See.
