The photo shows the jugs after the trigger was pulled. Range was 25 yard. Powder charge was 80g Blackhorn. The plywood has a caliber size hole through. The first jug was blown in half. The one half was found 15' left of the horse. The other half was found 15' right of the horse. The second jug was toasted. The third jug has a hole in and a hole out. The boolit bounced off the fourth jug, but didn't hurt it. The boolit was found on the ground about 3' to the side of the horse. Five of these hollow points averaged 346.2 grain each. The mushroomed boolit weighs 340.8 grain. The mushroom is 15/16 " at the widest portion.

Wow ... that is beautiful. Devastation, expansion, that would do the trick on the deer population.

Another great test.
Ron I meant to ask, Did you find primer removal easier on these lighter conicals and after you cleaned out your flash channel?

This is one of the bullets i may use this year for deer hunting on the conservation area. I never would have guessed it would retain that much weight. 80gr is probably a bit high for this bullet.

Naaaaa 350rgainer 80gr is just about right for a full bore. Might be a BIT of a shoulder whacker but nothing unmanageable.

Yes, no tool needed, just fingernails. Be kinda interesting to shoot your 500g boolit with the larger/cleaner flame channel, and see if the primers come out easily. What should i shoot? Can of pop?

That depends on the muzzle velocity. When i shoot a 460gr with 80gr of BH209 i get over 1400fps. If you go much faster you will get leading especially in a fast twist with a lighter conical.

Didn't even think about the leading, remember I'm a bit new to BH and I forget it's a little heat hotter than T7

I need to run these over the chrono. The SuperDISC loved them with 70gr of BH209.

2 lower shots loaded easier. It appears i only resized half of them. Top 3 were very tight starting by hand.

Ed's wonderful .451 350gr HP conical at 50 yards..5 shots.
