Randy,

When I wrote, " I prefer to keep this matter between myself and T/C" , I was saying in a nice way that I didn' t want your help. I will deal with T/C myself, directly, that means without the intervention of third parties. I apologize if you were confused.

If one carefully reads my first post to this thread, they should be able do discern my original intent. I was looking for advice concerning a stripped screw hole and it’s effect on the scope base.

Perhaps your experience with T/C customer service has been excellent. You are fortunate. I certainly hope your appraisal of T/C customer service is correct.
