d.winsor---The OP made a statement just like Pete said that was wide open and impossible to answer properly. When asked by Pete and in post #12 to answer some questions so he could be helped all the OP came back with is that he planned to deer hunt. It's no wonder all kinds of posts were made and a number were arguing with you for being so arrogant and trying to take over the thread and "school" everyone that most likely didn't need any schooling!

Where did you come from, I noticed you didn't make any suggestions for the OP and the only posts (2) you have made is trying to initiate a dog fight. Well I'm not getting pulled into your brand of discussing. You may as well not reply to me, I don't have any use for what you are selling. By the way if anyone was arguing that is their problem, I don't argue, and I am not going to do it with you.

You are such a sweet talker, I bet you say that to all the girls, I can see right now that if you are the only one left on this thread it will be just more of the same, abuse. I know the OP will not get any suggestions from you related to muzzleloaders, I doubt very seriously that he is even tuned in anymore. So If it is ok with you I am going to take the door muley took and hope it doesn't hit me in the butt on the way out. Buy the way, I feel good about everything I said on this thread.

Yes all I am recommending is CVA guns in this thread, with a complete description of every break action gun CVA makes. I have a T/C Pro Hunter that I would like to recommend because mine shoots great. I have read too many other threads where people have trouble with them grouping sabots or conical, and have to modify their guns. I can't in good conscience recommend one to OP. Also with S&W buyout of T/C and what has happened since I don't know how long T/C will be around.......
I'm not trying to get into a verbal exchange but, this isn't the first time you've went out on a limb promoting CVA and knocking another manufacturer (see above). The least you're attempting to do, is to create doubt about a shooters possible purchase of a T/C rifle. You appear willing to help, but not without an agenda, which includes ONLY promoting CVA products. Some of your help hasn't always been totally accurate, not that it was wrong, just not accurate. You and I have went through the verbal exchanges in other posts/forums over Encore platform rifles, concerning all the modifications YOU believe are required, which none are necessary for the average shooter. Now even with a number of thorough explanations, I'm wondering if that ever became understandable.
Take a short break and a deep breath. There's nothing bad about wanting to help, but maybe you come on a little strong? Please remember, although someone may be asking questions about what to buy or what to do, there are many shooters who have went through years and thousands of rounds, that also have suggestions or recommendations. These are seasoned muzzleloaders who have a real good idea what is required and/or needed to be done. Please just let them have their say also. Did you happen to notice the exchange about the Remington Ultimate? A couple comments made back and forth and it was dropped. We all have the same goal, which is muzzleloading and helping others. That doesn't mean any of us won't have our favorites. Take a deep breath, I think the OP has had enough of this posting.
