I use a Knight disc with a long barrel and it puts the regular 300 gr xtps inside a 3 in. circle at 200 yds. with 3 50 gr pellets.
I would appreciate your comments on the new sst with the plastic tip.
Thanks,
Ed

From my initial test results with the SST, you should have no less performance with them and they should drop less for ya at the 200 yards with it' s greater ballistic coefficient.
In three weeks I hope to find out how the SST performs on deer and I' ll let ya' ll know how they did.

What star are you aiming at when you squeeze the trigger with that pistol bullet... lol?
I see no reason to change bullets. What' s there to improve on other than b.c?

I am hoping to find out about the sst too when season gets here if they preform like they do in most of my reg. rifles they will do great. If you check out the pic under " got my encore ready" you can see a group I shot at 100 yds using 195,200,and 250 gr sst, shock wave and barnes ,you can see that the 250 hit right there with the 200 gr so it must be so with the drop being less. All with the same load of pyro-select @115 grs.
