That will be a really hard tag to get.

corey012778 01-13-2013 07:13 PM

already be announced that is going to be a tag system for the elk, the counties that the elk has been restored in have first crack.

standard deer tag system. how it stands, if you spot an elk outside of the elk restoration zones. they count for a whitetail tag.

some of the paper patching I have been up to.

Is that .446 mould a custom mould? I am extremely interested in the fit and accuracy with your white. DO you have a knight 50 for them? I hope to get these bullets vacuum sealed and sent this week. The vacuum sealing I hope will keep them from losing their paper in shipping. Ron

You never tried it with the Renegade barrel? It would be the same thing as I have.

I looked at a chart, and a 425 gr bullet is suppose to be ideal for a 1-48 twist.

I don't have a good renegade barrel to try them with. All the Renegades I have I bought with bad barrels. I got them very cheep since the barrels were crap. I do have them but they are tomato stakes. Ron

No barrels are made for the New Englander, so I have to make the stock barrel work.

I'll figure out something.

Probably just keep it for shorter shots with a PRB, and use the Knight Wolverine for longer shots. It's got a 1-28 twist, and will have the same Williams peep sight that you use. #11 cap ignition. I like the idea of long shots with big conicals and a peep sight. Something new to try.

the mold was picked up at an auction, so I don't know.

I have two 50cal knights.

That was a good find.:party0007: A .446 mould has to be custom from lee. I was going to order one.

You will like those 500 S&W bullets in the knight's. Ron

Plus with PP bullets you can increase your velocity from 1400 or so fps up to about 2000 fps without worrying about leading your barrel .
