Default offtopic, skunk problem

I have a skunk living under my front porch, I can't use the 22 solution on it, inside the city limits (miss living in the county). anyone got any ideas on how to get rid of it with out me smelling like skunk or calling someone in.

Throw a hand full of moth balls under there. It will leave. Or get a live trap and bait it with cat food. Place it near the opening with a long cord tied to it. When you catch the bugger drag the trap to a safe area and put a .22 bullet through its head.

Take a small balloon, something the size if a baseball and fill it with ammonia. Just the kind you buy at the grocery store. Fill the balloon up and tie it off like a water balloon. Buy a cheap pack of hot dogs and drain the juice out of he package. Rub the juice all over the balloon and place it under your porch. The skunk will think the balloon is edible and pop the balloon. The smell will run the skunk out. I have a friend that owns a nuisance animal removal company and he has used this with great results. Just make sure your skunk is not under there when you go to place the balloon under there. Good Luck!

Had a Buddy who used the trap and cord strategy. He failed to tie the rope down and just left 20 feet of rope tied to the trap. Well, he caught the skunk and the skunk pulled the rope into the trap.

He was left with a mad skunk in the trap and no way to move it. We still tease him about that story.

Good Luck Corey.
