Default Encore question????

My question is, if I remove the barrel of my Encore Endeavor to clean it will my point of impact change and have to resight the gun in? Anyone have any personal experience with this. Thanks for your help.

I believe it is possible to get small shift in the POI when you take your gun down and reassemble it... I do not do it - but I am dang old fashioned...

I shoot an Endeavor and a Triumph I take them down twice a year for a thorough cleaning and it has never been a problem.

SHulion,
No problems with taking the gun apart as long as you don’t remove the scope you should be fine. I have 2 Encore's and one has the Endeavor barrel and I take it down and clean and reassemble. The only possible way the POI can change other than removing the sights/scope is to over torque the forearm screws.

I have never had a problem with mine changing, and either.... Wouldn't concern myself with it.

I have never had a problem with my Encore, I have both a muzzleloader and a rifle barrel, each have their own scope and interchange them quite often with no problems. I did change to an oversize pivot pin though. Good Luck, Steve
