Thanks guys! I haven't shot it yet - only popped a few dozen caps while checking the action.

She weighs exactly ten pounds with the 33" x 1" octagon barrel. I had thought about cutting the barrel to something like 28", but I'm glad I didn't. Weight isn't an issue for most of my short walk stand hunting. And it hangs beautifully for off hand shooting. You can see the balance point in the first two pictures.

The next barrel will be a 22" .50 caliber 1:28" twist Knight Disc rifle cut-off from Green Mountain ($35 ). Much to my surprise and joy, I discovered the forend will fit the round .50 caliber barrel just fine.

I'm dying to shoot it. But won't get a chance until around October 6th. Heck, I might even have the .50 caliber barrel ready by then.
