Default Three Times The Fun

For about the cost of a Knight Mountaineer I have been able to purchase and put scopes on three Traditions Deerhunter caplock rifles. All three rifles have 24 inch barrels with a 1 in 48 inch twist rifling and are accurate rifles. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the Knight mountaineer. I have one more to get, the .50 caliber Deerhunter. Even with the .50 caliber model added into the cost, the total cost may still be within the price range of the most expensive Mountaineer.

SHOWOFF, you!

However, the Mountaineer is very long, and very heavy.

And here I was thinking you were trying to steer me back to the Deerhunter from the Deerstalker! The weight (recoil) difference about sealed it up for me. It will be a while before I get around to buying one though.

I'm wondering about the 1:48" twist with a .32 cal RB. Are there any othe projectiles for this caliber?

I keep thinking that it would be a lot of fun for small hunting.

Cover your eyes Muley!

That a nice group Pluckit. Maybe we should get those guys together with the Sinful Sisters and see if we can get a litter of Smokepole Sprouts.

When I think back. I was eating breakfast at the time, and typing with one hand while eating. I'm not good at that.

I can spell.

Yes, it did scare me. I almost choked on my food.

I think the .32 caliber Maxiball is no longer being made but I think you can still get them. There is also the .32 caliber Buffalo ball-et. I understand they are no longer being produced either but I'm not sure of that. Get them while you can I guess.
My Deerhunter shoots round balls very well with a 1 in 48 inch twist and the barrel is only 24 inches long. I haven't shot anything but round balls out of it, but I plan to.
