Semi it exited behind opposite leg and didnt really hit anything so damage was minimal but he dropped about 75 yds away .

Bronko true about using scope and I generally check things out with binocs but I thought it was a deer and I wouldnt have had a shot if I took the time to get binocs out check then get rifle up.

3 Seasons we have a special shotgun/muzzle season in Suffolk county mon-fri after the first weekend of January till the end of the month.You have to get in a lottery for a reservation date on one of the DEC spots. Then for the rest of the days you show up at the DEC check sta and they pull names out of a hat for any spots that are open where people didnt come in for their reservation on time. I usually get lucky and get a spot when I go.
