Was in reference to Arcticap's post not yours Builder.

If one ordered a custom then they know the wait.

They were "almost ready" on 7-11-11.

Anybody who ordered a Mountaineer with a FPJ breech plug got it already. The bare primer Mountaineer is not ready to ship yet. The gun will ship when it's right. Those who don't like it should call Knight rifles.

Grouse, if it were any other company you would have no objection to it being discussed here. just saying..... And you know I like my Knight rifles but ....
I'm sorry but if they get a black eye over this they pretty much have it coming.

I thought all Mountaineers were NFPJ bolts according to the original info. I see now they added the FPJ bolt as an option. That was what made them more desirable than a Extreme or LRH with a conversion kit. Did they offer a faster delivery date if you wanted the old bolt design or something?

It bothers me that the one guy that got one wants to trade it so its not a need for money he must have been disappointed.

That's ok I don't mind.I can keep waiting.I was planning on trying it out on an elk but it's been to hot to hunt.I have til the end of august and the disc elite is ready if need be.I can always break it in on an antelope or deer.I need to develope patience so this will help in that area

I have no objection to it being discussed any place. I totally understand people want what they purchased when they were told. Some mistakes were made and they need corrected.
