True Timneys were in the ealrly Knights after that they did use another trigger that functioned and looked much like a Timney.

I think GM54-120, might have a better handle on this, because when he purchased his LRH he had a choice of triggers to choose. With that I do believe that Knight was handling both Timney's and secondary less expensive Timney functioning trigger.

The only Knight I have that I know is a Timney is the MK-85, the others - I have never even looked because they function so well I guess it did not matter to me.

I would bet the triggers in the original LRH and the early MH & MHC series rifles were Timney's.

I just wondered why the queen of CVA
:busted:

BTW i will check the higher end trigger i got from Knight again. My MK did have a true Timney and the target trigger i bought looked the same but i don't remember seeing "Timney" on that trigger or the GMB54's trigger. Both are excellent though and a nice improvement over any imported ML trigger i have tried.

Only my NULA trigger is better IMO and it is a true Timney. The MK trigger though is really really close in quality.

Grouse, Is Knight actively building a dealer network?

I never expected this gun to be as good as it is. Like you say, people are going to need to see them to spend the $799.00 bucks. Though i was very surprised at how many are already sold. I'm probably going to buy the anniversary model this year.

They have been to a couple of the big sporting goods stores already. They do have a marketing team and a sales team. I have had no contact with them. I'm sure i will talk to them at the NRA show this month and see how that's working out.

Jay, I totally understand your question... it makes very good sense... I just wondered why the queen of CVA would ask if Knight actually built anything??? Knowing that BPI/CVA doesn't build their products either, they contract out to the lowest bidder.

Sabotloader, are you trying to start trouble with your name calling?

All i wanted to know is what parts knight built on their rifles, i wasnt trying to talk down on them for anything.

MD, I was just wondering which KNIGHT you have, I might have room for ONE more. I've never had to cover one up at the range, most of the time everyone want to shoot my KNIGHT instead of there own ML.

My last was an LK93 but i traded it to cayugad. Knight stocks are iffy for me, the LK93 i took a chance on and the stock actually fit me pretty good.

It's a forked recoil lug like the Elite.

Nice looking rifle. Best of luck to Knight. They have a quality product, I hope they succeed.

Does anybody know if they plan to make a left-handed version of any of their current bolt-action muzzleloaders?
