Just for clarification, this is a real invitation. It's not a joke. I'm serious.

Are White rifles allowed or is that considered cheating?

Never was a doubt in my mind.

I'll be there if the crick don't rise - and I'm serious also. (And you guys probably didn't think that was even possible. )

I think it would be fair. We could set up a different range for the antique weapons.

Boy I really wish I could get out there and teach you young whippersnappers how to shoot....But I have limited vacation time and I am already lining up an elk hunt in Wy for next year. And the remainder goes for ML & Archery here in PA and for Momma's annual trip to FL to see our daughter. And you all know you have to keep Momma happy. Cause if Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.!
Chet has given us all a very generous offer and I applaud him for that. But I think he may have home field advantage. Not many of us have shot out in open country and know how to use Kentucky windage for those nasty prarie crosswinds (I have and it can get a bit tricky).

Well I would say 200 yards usually separates the men form the mouths. Sounds good to me how far is that from AR? Don't usually travel in that direction, but this sounds like fun.
