Could there be any other variable
Mr. Flintlock: Hello I was hoping you would contribute to this thread.

I don't think humidity is an issue. I live in Phoenix and it is pretty dry here. The only other thing I can think of is maybe I did not dry the barrel enough between cleaning swabs. I use a 50/50 mix of iso/windshield washer fluid to clean out the barrel. This usually dries pretty fast, but who knows, maybe I need to run a dry patch just be be sure.

I really think that's more likely the cause of your problem, rather than the patch lube. I use straight 91% alcohol for swabbing between shots. Even with that, if I start getting sloppy and use too wet of a patch to swab I start having ignition problems.
