For $200, does anything beat the TC Omega?

The omega/accura are reliable with BH209, the knight, is not.
Where in the world did you come up with the fact that the Knight is not reliable with BH?

I had a Knight Vision here with the new NFPJ breech plug and it shot BH great - it was even clean - which did surprise me.

I realize this is only a 25 yard target.. but I think the Vision and BH have great possibilites

Here is the breech after the range session...

Another bit of information to correct another one of your thoughts.

It is a good deal for $200 and a good start. However i did have a Z5 and didn't care for it and sold it. Just me. Others like them. Have two knights but wouldn't buy one now as they are out of business. Not a good thing for warrenty. Heck i shot two deer this year with a cheap Wolf on sale for $138. Then moved up to an Accura. Buy the Omega and shoot for awhile and you will probably own more than one brand before you are done like most of the people here. Everybody has their favorite that fits them the best. Is why there are so many models.

It seems like your gonna get one anyway, but once bitten you'll buy another then most likely another. Then usually you will sell off your first to get the second and lose big time on your first. So if your gonna get serious into Mling then save and get a little better one so once your onto it you'll be satisfied with what you have, for awhile at least.
From recent post I have read there are some Wal-Marts selling TC Triumph's for around $175. Do some checking around you'll be surprised at what you may find.
Good Luck!

if knights were reliable with BH209, Many on here wouldnt be waiting for Lehigh to come out with their breech plugs that may allow a knight to shoot bh209.

can a guy go out right now and buy a vision or a krb right off the rack and go shoot bh209? we all went through this when bh209. Hey. my knight hangfires with BH!!

have you actually shot or owned a vision?i bought 2 visions from sportsmans guide both have been great shooters with t7 + blackhorn with t7 they shoot about anything you can put down the bore well wwith 80-120gr powder, with blackhorn you just have to have a tight fitting sabot.now i know it does'nt have a bogartis barrel but still they shoot very well

And if you knew what you were talking about you would know that both the NFPJ and the FPJ shoot BH just fine. The new breech plug from Lehigh is an attempt to get a clean breech - not to help shooting BH. Since the Knight Ultimate Slam never made to the marketplace, Tom and Lehigh are trying to adapt the DISC series to the U-slam standards.

If you can find them yes you can shoot BH right now. In fact I am going to do it in the morning. I just bought a Knight Elite, and tomorrow I will shoot BH with a FPJ breech plug and not have any hangfires. It is suppose to be 15/20 degrees and it will still work if you use the correct primer and and sabot -simple as that.
