Im sick - I actually like APP

I say if it aint Broke DONT FIX IT. If what you have been using works than no need to change it. Personally I like to clean My Mler, it gives you something to do while you figure out what went wrong at the range or how exciting the day's hunt was, or not, and how to make it better the next time.

Just as the topic says and you all know, Im sick! This stuff is darn clean and super easy to clean up.
My first outing i was pretty worried and kind of pissed off LOL.
My second outing i pushed the 245gr HP Powerbelt onto the powder very firmly and allowed the barrel to cool down a few minutes between shots. I also used the new Remington STS primers. I honestly think i pulled shot #2!! It had to have been a flinch or a trigger jerk.
The holes marked with a marker were my first outing and you can see how much it sucked. Those shots, i seated the projectile lightly on top of the powder and did not allow a cool down. These were also with the CCI Inline MZL primers.

Well i loaded up the .50cal Cabelas Hawken and afterwards i pulled the nipple to make sure powder got in there. Nothing at all. With a sidelock and APP, 3f will be needed. I can take at least one shot tomorrow and see how the #11 ignition does with it. I just put some 2f APP into the drum. Kind of like putting rocks into a round tube lol.
