The breech plug is much like your Accura plug. The gun has a drop breech block/ Whem you open the trigger guard the block falls away from the breech plug allowing you to decap and cap...
It is a copy of the Omega with a different twist rate in the barrel...

What makes this 1-48 twist barrel that much different then say the 1-48 twist of a T/C Hawkins or Renegade? Is the rifling cut different? I have a .54 Renegade that shoots maxiball real well, but normally I hunt with REAL conicals 300 grain out of it. It shoots them real good and they really put a hurt on a deer. I am wondering if this would also shoot REAL conicals well.
Also what is the normal asking price of one of these?

I wonder why they would look like an Omega? But since the Omega was a really succesful venture for TC I guess I can understand why....

If CVA would work as hard at putting together some thing new as they do at copying other peoples successful stuff then they could not sell so cheap. This type of thing could catch up with them all at once its happened to other companies . Lee

Am I to guess you purchased one of these rifles and it is not shooting as well and the other poster? Lots of reasons this can happen, the way you swab, the way you pull the trigger, seat the projectile, perhaps your barrel needs to be smoothed out.. could be a number of things. All you can do is keep trying different things until something works for you.
