I know it doesn't look like it belongs on the forum now but it will in a few weeks. It's a Savage Model 11 in 243Win.
Pac-Nor makes drop-in .45 ML barrels for the Savage action already threaded for the Savage-10ML plug. There are a number of machinists out there who make custom plugs that take 45ACP or shortened 243Win cases as primer carriers for magnum rifle primers.
So far I have the following:
-Savage Model 11 package gun in 243Win
-Pac-Nor 26" 1-22" twist ML contour SuperMatch hand-lapped barrel (ordered)
-Custom plug (ordered)
-HS Precision Varmint stock in spruce green w/black (ordered)
-Rifle Basix 1-3lb trigger (ordered) -- factory has too much creep
-Scope level
-Bushnell 6500 2.5-16X42mm Tactical scope w/side focus
-Leupold Weaver-style quick release rings
-T/C PowerRod
Left to order or find:
-20MOA base
-stainless or aluminum tubing to make ramrod ferrule
Everything should be here and it should be shootable by mid-January. Not sure when I can access a milling machine and tool shop to get the ramrod channel into the stock and ferrule installed.
Purpose is to shoot .40 cal bullets like the 200SW up to 2600-2700 fps or ..45 bullets like the Parker Extreme or .452 FTX sabotless.
I'll update the thread with pics as they are available.

The only reason I got this Savage was because a) it was stainless, and b) it had a 243 Win barrel and you can use a Savage as a switch-barrel rifle and I've always wanted a 243. So now I'll have two guns in one.

Does Pac-Nor make custom barrels for other guns? I have been thinking about a smokeless barrel for my Encore. Lee

Here it is, complete except for the breech plug:

Very Nice! :-) :-) I also shoot allot of the Bulk Win Bullets. and Of course my Hard Cast in MLs.
Have you ever Paper Patched any Boolitz, I would send you some 333 gr smooth sided if you wanted to try them as Paper patch boolitzs in the .45. to wraps of tracing paper easily bring them up to .458. they are sized .452 now. They might load perfect paper patched in that cannon. 3 wraps would defiantly make them real tight.

It's a very interesting idea however and I appreciate the offer. How much thickness can you paper patch? Perhaps this would be an option for .44cal bullets?

I decided not to chop up my HS Precision stock to hold a ramrod, I'd need to get it on a mill to get through the aluminum bedding block. I've learned there is a good shock cord jointed collapsible ramrod people use and carry in a belt pouch, I'll probably go that route for now.
