Dang Ron, I sure admire a man that can drag a deer like that. Coulda` done it a one time, but those days are long gone.

If I were 3/4 of a mile in over bad ground and by myself I'd just have to shoot it with a camera and drag the SD card back out.

Well, luckily for me it was mostly all down hill. Today, the last day of this season, was the first day of this particular doe hunt when it wasn't very very muddy. Today i drove for miles on dirt two track. Saw two small buck, but no doe. Did a sneak on one of them, discovered he was a he, and pulled the primer, and 'killed' him or as we say 'counted coup'.

Actually i did pack two micro sd cards in and out. One of them had the information about the terrain, and the other had the information of land ownership so that i wouldn't trespass.

Dragging that deer wasn't much fun at all, and more than once during the 3/4 mile i decided it wasn't worth it. I guess the doe will taste better than the sd card would, with or with out salt, pepper, and/or Louisiana Hot Sauce. Hope i never have to do it again.

Nice Shooting! I always replace them dang Aluminum Ram Rods with Fiberglass one's, I been there! Also I use the Plastic Tubes that the 50gr Pyrodox Pellets come in, in the Blister Pacs, I cut the tube to my desired length so it will fit the powder and bullet sabot combination in them, they work great. In a hurry just take off the cap and your ready.
