Can you buy a muzzleloader encore, and then also purchase a rifle barrel, such as a 30-06 or whatever. Or do you need a different receiver? What is the price of an encore muzzleloader and can I covert it to a rifled barrel? Thanks

Matthews,
Yes, you can start with whatever barrel/frame set-up you want and then get other barrels.
The 209x50 in blued/composite cost around $500 and extra barrels cost around $200-$300 depending on caliber, length and finish.
It is a great rifle and very accurate![:-]

Be aware that different Encore barrels may require different forearms. The muzzleloader forearm doesn' t work for cf rifles. And I think there at least two variants for the rifle barrels. Pistol barrels gets you into another forearm requirement.
