help with omega

I just bought a t/c omega 50 cal. Can anyone give me a good starting point to go by? (like how many grains of powder or should i use pellets,what type of bullet,how much distance can i expect out of the gun) any help would be appreciated.

Try a 240 -265 gr. sabot to start. What I do is start with 85 grains, shoot three shots, increase to 90 grains and repeat until you reach the maximum recommended load for your gun . If the groups open up considerably before or at the maximum load back off 5 grains and use this as your optimum load.
Hopefully your gun will shoot 100 grains satifactorily but alot of guns shoot best at
90-95 grains which is still a good hunting load. I shoot 90 grains and have killed deer consistantly out to 100 yards.
