I use a 3 x 9 so that I can check out the deer real good . Most days are buck only in SC so I crank it up to 9 when I see deer that aren't spooked by anything .

i went with a 1.5-4.5 power. I got a pretty good deal on it so that kinda made up my mind. Now the only problem i have is i put a set of quick detach scope rings on my muzzle loader and with the scope on it. It seats to low and i can not get my lens covers off casue it wont clear the open sites.

My hunting buddies just bought me the 2-7 Prostaff for a wedding gift. My future wife was going to get it for me as a wedding gift, but my buddies beat her to it. They want me to be able to sight in with them and practice this summer. The only thing I'm waiting on now are the rings that my local gun dealer "ordered" over a month ago. Don't know how much more I'll be ordering from this guy.

BTW my setup will be similar to the Triumph in the earlier picture, but with the 2-7 prostaff. I'm also using the leupold bases and rings just like the earlier triumph pic.
