Default Scope for a Muzzle Loader

What scope would you guys recommend for my muzzle loader (Knight Master Hunter II). The scope has to come in silver though because I have a ss barrel. So far I have looked into Swift and simmons.

Of course don't want to spend too much. Around $125.

Thanks
Tom

For ML you could look at going with a straight power scope to keep cost down. I purchased a Nikon 4X in silver about a year ago for $129.00. It was a new scope, but marked down as it was not selling. I think normal retail was only about $150-160.

I found the Simmons Aetec for $179.99
and the Swift for $147.

Anyone know of a place to get either of these cheaper or have a suggestions for another scope.

I would prefer not to buy a fix power if I can avoid it.

The eye relief on the the Simmons Aetec seems to make it a really good deal. I am kind of siding towards it. Anyone know where I can get it cheaper?

I have a Nikon Buckmaster 3x9 on my muzzleloader. It is though outa the price range you are talking but for the extra 75 dollars or so I think it is definitly worth it.

Statjunk,
SWFA had them on special last week. Not sure. I'd leave the website but they seem to be updating it. They usually have really good scope prices.

I found the older Aetec on the SWFA website for $129. Is the new Aetec worth the wait or should I jump on this.

I think you made a wise purchase. I am not qualified to tell you the difference in the old vs new one, but I can tell you that I have an old one that works just fine. I have no complaints. Have fun!
