Wow!! those are good groups. You're not the first person I have read about that mentioned the trigger on the Encores. Is this a common problem with them or were you just unlucky. I was fondling one today at the gun shop after the doctors visit.

Dave, I have read about it often enough so that I kind of expected it. I guess I just hoped that TC was on the ball enough so that they had fixed it. I shall have to get a spring kit and dig out my old Arkansas stones and fix it. Lee

Well I picked up some CCI Mag #11 caps today and they had one on the wall. So I had to handle it. I was impressed with the balance of the rifle. It fits well, and you face just kind of falls into place. It was $739.00

Well, I guess the biggest surprise was the fact that the recoil absorber actually works, the next was when I shot some of those Hornady conicals to help break it in and it put them in one hole at 100 yds. I may just have to fined something to shoot at with them. I have not even fixed the forearm or anything yet, this one may turn out to be one of them special ones with a permanent home. Lee

To late now, tweak and be happy.

I may just like it better than the Triumph. The recoil absorbing set up is nice I really like stainless and I don't care for that plating. It started out about the same just different tweaks. A then there is the fact that the Triumph will set in the rack and wait till I feel like getting it out again. Lee
