I have a T/C Sys. 1 .54 cal. Muzzleloader with a 1-38 twist, and plan to use a .45 cal. 300 gr. WFN or LFN LBT style bullet depending on which shoots better due to the slow twist. The WFN is shorter so it should shoot better.
Has anybody used T/C Break ' O' Sabots, and can they handle 150 grs. of Pyrodex Pellets? Are they better for accuracy than T/C Mag Sabots? Do you know who makes a .54 cal. Sabot for a .50 cal. bullet? Thanks in advance.

Everything I have read states that the Break-away sabots are intended for loads under 100grs. of powder.
" Precision Rifle Bullet" makes some excellent polymer tipped bullets you may want to look into.
