Chap,
Your knowledge and experience in Muzzleloading is on a level above mine. I have nothing to offer for your superior Barnes bullet company and JS to boot. I want to talk and relate to the guys that get out of bed the same way i do anddont want to argue about every last littledetail. The guy's that like to share information and dont worry about there XTP'S not beingavailable next year to hunt with. If those guys arent here, i will go as fast as i came.Your 3000 plus post's mean nothing to me.Please put me on your ignore list. When i get more experience i will try and talk on your level. Thanks for the short education. Tom
Tom, I am sorry you have written me off, it was not my intent to piss you off. I do NOT intend to put you on my ignore list, since I have none. Ivalue your opinion, you are the lead on these Lehigh bullets and I am very interested in your results because of accuracy. Imay even give them a try. You did clarify the audience your writing for, the folks that like to share information, which I like to do---www.the-gleasons.com has a lot of MLing info and huntingthat I have learned. So I will refrain from posing direct questions to yousince I believe Iirritate you.
Best Wishes Tom,
Chap
Chap,
Now i see why you have so many post's. You did not piss me off. The thread is titled WHAT A GREAT DEAL. You have chosen to talk about everything but the good deal. You have made comments that you didnt think this bullet could do as well as your Barnes expanders and whatever else. Your making astatement and you never used the bullet. After checking out your web-site i know why now. I have shot Deer with all bullets you listed. I have in the field results with the bullets you listed. After shooting something with Lehigh i will make comparisons on in the field results. One animal will not be sufficient results.

SWThomas,
I can see you are going to be a constant problem. You have posted nothing but negative and non productive opinions on my post's. Why dont you get away from the computer and go shoot them yourself. You are welcome to show up in PA and see how they shoot anytime.

BTW- The best all around ML bullet to date for me is the Parker 275grn BE.
Man this topic has taken off in the last two days...

Grouse, I'm seriously not trying to be a problem. I respect you and your great posts. They're very informative and very helpful. I'm just asking some questions that seem to be not only on my mind based on some of the other posts in this topic. It may not be the case, but it seems like you've been pushing BH209 and Lehigh Bullets like you're getting paid to do so. It might be different if you just said some good things about their stuff every so often but you've done it with every topic you've posted so far.

Sorry for any irritation I've caused you but it just looks obvious to me that you have an agenda.

No, it wouldn't change the results of your tests but it would make people question your motives on saying how great these bullets are. And I'm not too sure the owner of this site appreciates someone advertising without getting a cut of the action...

Not to say anything bad about the Lehighs cause I know nothing about them but until I see any reports on them actually taking game I will stick with my Barnes Expander MZ's. Cabelas has thier 250gr Expanders on sale in the bargin bin for $12.88 for 18(sold out at the moment)I know how they preform.

People claiming you get paid by so and so gets old after a while. I'd love it if powerbelt sent me bullets and paid me I'd have a lot more money to play with.

I was told by the senior fellows on this board, that this is "campfire" talk, and that threads started on one topic can evolve into another and friends sitting around the campfire will talk about a given subject, but then someone else interject another thought that takes them off subject of the origonal thread. If you notice, that happens alot, and there is no offense taken by anyone 'cause we are all friends sitting around the campfire talking about MLing. So that is the 'culture you joined. Glad I did not piss you off, we are all just talkin' around the campfire.

Well said Chap, and that's why I enjoy this board more than any other I've found. A bunch of mellow fellows who enjoy a bull session loosely framed around muzzle loaders.
