I for one dont care what Grouses intentions are. He,s putting out some good information. & from what Im learning about muzzleloaders, information is half the battle. So Grouse keep it up I ll take that info & decide if Ill use it. Im interested because I like 200 grain bullets in my Omega X7. Ive got 100 or so of the SSTs, By time those are use up, maybe we,ll have some results on game. One question Grouse, why brass not copper. Whats the advantage?
Thanks Jay
Thanks bud, i gotta alot of good information just getting side tracked. I would say Brass is cheaper but not sure.

Ok...I've read this entire thread and I'll say this. Except for the original PRBs I shot out of my Lyman every bullet I've used whether at paper or at deer was a recommendation from someone else. Mostly from this forum or MM. Otherwise, how would I know except by chance.

I've taken recommendations from UC, GC, Semiand others. Since I am very interested in coming up with a bullet to hunt with out of my Accura I would be interested in the Lehighs too! So I am interested in what Grouse has to say also.

I hope no one hates me. [&o]

I don't think anyone would hate you It's not a matter of choosing sides ,rather I think it's more a matter of choosing our words wisely. Sometimes we do more damage that way. the tongue is a powerful weapon. I think the whole issue has to do with mutual respect .James 3:5-10 (KJV)
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
James 3:16-18 (KJV)
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

OK OK I'll stop the preaching

Grouse... Just curious since you opened the door by mentioning it in another thread... Why were you banned from Modern Muzzleloaders? I thought you and Chuck were tight...
This is no#3. You have asked this question three times and i answered three times. You are nothing but trouble, and do nothing for the sport. I remember you now, you are also from Modern Muzzleloader. Enough said.

Thanks guy's, the PM'S and emails are greatly appreciated. I was asleep on this.
I was looking for the threads where I asked the other two times but could not find them. Can you post a link? Or did you avoid the question in them also.

It's obvious to me now the kind of person you are... A know-it-all with a piss poor attitude. Just because you go out and spend a bunch of time and money punching holes in paper doesn't make you the greatest thing to ever happen to the muzzleloading community. I spend my money on muzzleloaders, muzzleloading bullet/sabots, black powder substitutes, 209 primers, muzzleloader specific cleaning supplied, etc... I also give advice from my very limited knowledge base whenever I can. And I promote muzzleloading to any other hunters I meet. I'd say I do plenty for the muzzleloading community.

It's not the info that pisses people off, it's the constant onslaught of advertising that irritates me and I would suspect irritates others. Yeah, plenty of people make bullet recommendations and that's one thing. For example "I shoot XTP's. They group great out of my rifle". But ever since this guy came over to this site he has been pushing Lehigh bullets and nothing else. From his very first post he has been flying the Lehigh flag so much that it wreaks AGENDA.

Let me explain about Lehigh bullets,... What a great deal on Lehigh bullets,... Lehigh bullets cure cancer,... Jesus Christ shoots Lehigh bullets out of his personal muzzleloader,... Lehigh bullets will turn the economy around.... GIVE US A BREAK!!!

Say something nice about a product and be done with it for crying out loud! Grouse sure is drinking up on the Lehigh cool-aid for someone that has shot NOTHING but paper with them. [&:]

I thought best friends to tell you the truth. Just disagreed on a few things thats all. He treated me like a brother. Probably better. I can not believe the welcome i have got from the three boards i post on. Last night alone i got 19 Pm's and 14 emails from this board alone. Make's ya feel pretty good i might say. "" I really like this board
Really do not want to jump in this mess but here is one Grouse's answers and i can tell you this is written exactly as it was.

It truly was a disagreement that escalated to a point that action was taken....
