Default Great experience with Thompson Center Arms

Recently there has been several people complaining about how poor T/C's customer service has gotten. I just wanted to take a minute and post my positive experience with them to show people that a little patience will go a long way when dealing with an extremely busy company like T/C.

I've called T/C exactly 8 times. Every single time they have answered the phone after very minimal hold time. The person who answered the phone (women all 8 times) was very polite and answered all my questions. The majority of these calls were for knowledge, but a couple of them were business. I noticed some finish blemishes on the trigger guard of my Encore Endeavor and was inquiring about the possibility of a replacement being sent to me. Without question, the receptionist took my name and address and shipped a fresh one to me free of charge. And I didn't even have to send back the old one. I also phone ordered a few cleaning items and some spare o-rings for the Speed Breech XT during a separate call. Once again, the receptionist promptly answered the phone and was very curtious and helpful. I inquired about some stainless steel slave screws to use when removing the rear site, and they were thrown in the order free of charge. The shipping did take a few days longer than I would have liked, but I'm a patient person and I fully understand the load that company must be under with limited staff and high demand.

So,... unless my positive experiences were just an isolated incidents (all 8 times), I've come to the conclusion that T/C is still a great company to do business with and some people shouldbe just a little more patient. No one is perfect and from what I've seen, T/C is doing their best to keep their customers happy. But there will always be those people who just like to gripe about stuff and will never be satisfied no matter how far someone goes to make them happy.

It's good to hear some positive things about T/C. I was very happy with their service early last fall when had to replacethe front sight on my Omega. Maybe I should put the Pro-Hunter back on one of the guns I NEED list.

Pro Hunter or an Endeavor. This Speed Breech XT is nice!

I was just thinking the Pro-Hunter. I haven't done alot of research or heard much about the Endeavor yet.

and you can get the Endeavor barrel to go with any Encore or Pro Hunter...I personally like the hidden Speed Breech of the Pro-Hunter barrel...

It is pretty sleek. But you need a tool to remove it. The Speed Breech XT is much more convenient.
