The main thing is they admitted they have it. Now if they loose it they are responsible. I had to use Lyman's customer service once. The Thimble Rib screws were never tightened on my Trade Rifle. I took the rifle outside, pulled the ramrod, and the thimble rib fell off. No screws could be found.

I called Lyman and they said they did not have the parts but I did get them about three weeks later and fixed the gun finally.

Sounds like a bad dream. I hope I don't have a long wait when I send my Hawken trigger assembly out to T/C to have the return spring replaced.

3 months i honestly wouldnt bother trying to send it back to them to be fixed.

Lesson learned? Never buy a Lyman. I swore off them after my experience and that was only with a bullet mould.

ps: send it to me and I will "fix" it.
