Well, I have not been a member for a long long time, but it has been a great learning tool. The guys on here are very smart. However, as a youngin' I would like to say that I hope we don't get lumped in as bickering group, b/c there are lots who are not and I hope that somehow we can pass on some things we have learned or seen as well....one question...what was the big powerbelt agrument?

Actually, there was no argument at all. Everyone agreed that PowerBelts make good accurate bullets for shooting targets and everyone agreed that PowerBelts are totally useless for hunting.

Uh-Oh! Run! Run! Run!

uh ohis rightshame on you

IRT the original topic . . . yes, this forum is great for a number of reasons (most of which have already been stated). Everyone helps everyone else and there is no such thing as a dumb question. Everyone respects and supports each other and not just with ML topics.

The best description of arguing online I heard came from a co-worker who described it like the Special Olympics. "You may win he said, but you are still retarded..."

That pretty much ended my days of arguing online

Well you guys may remember a few months ago, we had a guy come on here and was real arrogant. I won't mention any names. He was the kind of guy that thought he had the best of everthing and everyone else's stuff was junk.
But some of us really tore into him and he didn't hang around long. That is unless he settled down and is now using a different ID.
OH and way to go Semisane - that fire was just about smothered out and you go and bring another can of gas!!!!!!

I been shooting a Muzzle loader since 1975, got my own in 1976 a kit.
For over 30 years I have been just shooting a Muzzle loader. Once I got here I was taught how to do it right. I also have a list of people who I consider friends and would treat them as such if I met them in person.

[>:]What was it a couple years ago with the NewIdeaHo rule change that pitted the stone strikers &rock lockers againest the inliners? Seems that wasn't so friendly either.
It is far friendlier than many places. Some places the people who moderate allow the subject of to go fromwhat gunquestions to useing scopes is gawd awful for several pages Even when the poster posted about the gun he/she selected.

I sent a fellow here recently from a site where they beat him up because he uses a inline.

I am old and can't see real well with out the bottoms out of coke bottles but I isnt feeble yet.
