I am not at home at the moment, so I can not get you the exact measurement, but I was @ Sportsmans Warehouse this morning (what a sad place their stock of reloading/shooting materials are at a all time low - in the Kennewick, Spokane, and Couer D' Alene stores - are they getting ready to pull the plug along with Circuit city?) Well any way I did play around with a Triumph this moring taking the breech in and out (there is a little bit of an art to that) but anyway that BP must be 2" long and it shoots BH just fine.

Yes my Omega plug, actually all of my inline plugs are shorter than the Triumph.... so when you say you have a 3/8" channel their is no way that is to long, especially with hot primers.

Look at the difference in length...
