It's tape for me. I switched from grease a little over a year ago.

Does anybody use actual breech plug grease, such as T/C T17 or similar? It sounds to me like everybody uses something different.

I do use T17 BP grease on the nipple threads on a side hammer - my personal thought I like it and it works for me. I do not use any grease on a BP - just do not like the residue...

Neither. I shoot BH209 and use nothing on the breech plug. I just tighten it snug and it always comes out just fine after shooting.

I use the anti seize but never gave tape a thought. Maybe now I will switch is the seize's are always so messy. Plus I work at Ace so I can get more anytime I need it. Thanks for the tips.
