Default Plugged fire channel

Guys - I just cleaned my PH fire channel for the first time. Wow was there a lot of build-up. Now don't get me wrong, I clean the barrel and BP ALL the time. I simply haven't bored out the BP. My buddy's Triumph came in today and we cleaned it together. While doing so I realized just how open his BP was. This obviously got me wondering about mine...one thing led to another so I started picking away at it (with a fire channel brush). I can't believe how narrow the channel had become!!!!

Is this what happens quickly with BH209 powder??? I still plan to test my SW load with BH209 and the Gold Dots with both T7 and BH209.

With smokeless, in our Savages, we have to drill them out about every 25 shot. BH is very much like smokeless. Chap

From all I have read Blackhorn does clog the fire channels. While it is easy to clean out of the barrel, it takes me twice as long to clean the breech plug.

Cayugad-

From all that you have read, do you believe that BH209 is more accurate than T7?I'm strongly debating between the two (or really just rying BH209). The T7 shootsMOA at 100 yds out of my rifle, but improvement is always a good thing. Also, I'll probably shoot let than a pound of whatever per year. Thanks in advance!!!
