I finally got to talk to someone from T/C this morning. She was absolutly no help at all. She said they had 300 voice mails answered yesterday, I told her I have been leaveing voice mails since before xmas, she didn't have a answer for that and told me there is nothing she can do about it. She said when she finds my barrel she would call me back. I told her to have a manager call me back!
Man am I regreting buying a gun from T/C

Dude... here is my take on this. You joined this forum and right away started in on T/C. Nearly every post has been a BASH to them. I am starting to feel like you are on a Witch Hunt. The members here have given you good advice. All you seem to want to do is drag them through the mud. The holiday season I am sure was busy for them and they are behind.... just like I am here at work. I have ALWAYS been treated very good by T/C and they have kept me very happy over the past 20+ years. You posted your problem to us here on this forum right at Christmas time or just after... did you give them enough time to catch up and look at your problem? With all the holidays and weekends they havent had hardly any work days... They have a limited number of staff during the holidays. GIVE THEM SOME TIME...PLEASE.

By the way... on Dec 31st you reported "The Gun is on the way to T/C for inspection." That was the day before a HOLIDAY (and only 2 working days at BEST ago)... do you seriously think they have had time to inspect it??? They might not even have received it yet and if they did should they push everyone elses problem aside to take care of you? I understand your frustration, but DUDE... give them some time. Its probably not even been entered into there system yet as being received!

I also have had great service from T/C. Other companies should try to be more like them. Maybe their products would still sell or they would stil be in bussness.
I have read some amazing things T/C has done, like replace barrels for people who forgot to clean them like they should. In other words they repaired some thing they didn't really need to. Owner neglict isn't a part of any warrenty I know of.

They said they answered 300 voicemails in ONE day...sounds like they may be a little backed up from the holiday, just like most companies are (I cleared about 300 emails yesterday!!!)
I'm sorry, but what are you expecting from them? An answer the instant they get it in the mail?
The delivery companies run people hard leading into the holidays, and often packages take LONGER than normal to get delivered after Christmas as a result. I ordered a couple things by internet recently and they took longer than normal to arrive despite being shipped the next day. They may not have even gotten it until a few days ago!
You sent it in during the holidays, like a week ago, and expect an answer already? They may have a good turnaround but honestly you are being unreasonable with them. Despite that I bet they will replace your barrel and make things right.
Ease off on the instant gratification. If I recall I sent them my gun during April or May, likely the slowest time of the year for them, and had it back in about two weeks. I had no issues with that.

Patients my friend, I understand your frustation completly. Holiday back-ups are common in all retail business. T/C's customer service is normally top notch, a friend had a newer t/c rifle that just wouldn't shoot straight, it happens. All manufacturers produce a lemon ocassionally. He returned the gun to t/c. They not only replaced it, they upgraded it to a fancy laminated stock and expressed their apology's for the inconvenience. Time will tell, but I'll bet you will be satisfied with the outcome. Good luck.

Quit yer bitchin'. You'll have a legitimate issue if they tell you made a mistake and you're sh*t out of luck. That won't happen though.
My bet is they replace the barrel with few/no questions asked, once they get to it.
I used to live 30 minutes away from the factory in NH. I took guns in twice. OnceI needed screws replaced because I screwed the heads up. The other was a gun I didn't even own, but brought in so they could look at a cracked stock. All they have ever done for me is take my gun in the back, and re-emerge 20 minutes later with a replaced part and a repaired gun. Since I moved, I have e-mailed them, and they always return the message within a week.
