How is that gun on blow back? Or does it not exist due to the cam?

Perfect of that one!
Someone explain to me the why of that trigger-block safety. Did they expect you to be walking around with the rifle cocked? [:-]
I think its a pretty good idea.I don't remember where I read it but it said there are more hunting accidents with a single shot exposedhammer style gun than any other type

Unless someone is idiot enough to hunt with that hammer cocked - it does nothing to prevent an accident.

Exactly! I wonder how much idiot it takes to become idiot enough?
Cock the hammer when you are about to shoot...ONLY!!!

I took a guy hunting with medown in Francis Marion in SC years ago. He was carrying a 700 Remington ready to go, saftey off. I noticed and told him that was very unsafe. He said that's the way he hunted. I told him the hunt was over and never even so much as talked to him about hunting again.

Those exposed hammer accidents were more than likely from those Winchester Moderl 94's.
Sisters boy friend years ago had racked a round in the chamber of his and was letting the hammer down, thumb sliped on the hammer and he shot his truck. Neighbour lady had loaded hers in the kitchen and was letting the hammer down when her thumb sliped off the hammer and the round when thru the kitchen ceiling just missing her youngest son sleeping in the bed room above.
